Procession of Horses – Jane’s Carousel

I had the pleasure to watch a mini parade today on the streets of dumbo which lead to Brooklyn Bridge Park. The Horses of Jane’s Carousel trotted along the cobblestones to their final resting place in the glass structure built to house the menagerie. Below are some of the photos and video I took of the event.

A Social Media Company Parties in Dumbo

Here is a recently completed video we produced for Carrot Creative’s 6th Anniversary Party. They had just moved into this new 12th floor loft space in Dumbo, Brooklyn and wanted to celebrate their ascent with their friends and family. Their view of Manhattan and the Brooklyn Bridge is inspiring and plays a character in the video.

Demonstrous Productions also created a fun conversation piece by displaying the live feed of time-lapse images being taken from above the space. The LEDs in the drinks were also a Demonstrous touch. The combination of the photographic feedback and the camera set to aperture priority allowed for a playful final moment that culminated in the >CARROT logo written in light.

I made this video to both test our new Canon T3i as well as honor to cool folks who meet every month at Digital Dumbo in Brooklyn. I cut it quickly with iMovie and did a bit of After Effect time-remapping and motion graphics at the end.

Digital Dumbo #22 created by Carrot Creative and sponsored by Aol was a jolly event indeed! The theme was “Ugly Holiday Sweaters”

A extensive article was written by the journalistic genius Kelly Samardak who got in the spirit by wearing a XXL Xmas sweater as a dress. Here is a blatantly self-promoting excerpt:

“Refreshing finds like Cooper Miller, a multifaceted video art graphic dude, whose sweater was inventive and perverse all at once. This man is my hero. His sweater had a built-in fake arm — and the mouth of his knitted Santa face doubled as a bottle opener.
