• Jonathan Gaugler had a wild idea.  He wanted to craft his own cheese and make a living selling it.  Jon calls his company Arsenal Cheese after the Allegheny Arsenal in Pittsburgh, PA that blew up on September 17, 1862; a civilian tragedy that would be overshadowed by the Battle of Antietam, which transpired the same day.  He lives and cultivates his curds only blocks away from the site which was turned into a public park.  We studied woodtype of the 19th century to fashion a design befitting of the Arsenal name and legacy.  The final product was printed on unbleached recycled sticker stock.  He has recently been besieged by orders from local grocers and restraunts.  His small labor of love has “blown up”, not by accident but by design.

  • Carrot Creative, a social media marketing agency, came to us to document a party celebrating their 6th Anniversary and recent relocation into a grand 12th floor loft space in Dumbo, Brooklyn.  Their view of Manhattan and the Brooklyn Bridge is inspiring and plays a big role in the video.  They were simply out to have a good time and share their new space with friends and family, but with the help of Matt and Kim’s song “Block After Block” they got a video worth sharing.

    Demonstrous Productions team was not satisfied to make a simple video, and the founders of Carrot Creative were sold an idea that pushed their own expectations.  Our concept was to add a playful luminescence by added LED icecubes to the drinks of the Carrots. A camera recorded the festivities at regular intervals, creating a the timeplase seen in the video.  What the video doesnt show is the live playback of the images seconds after they were taken.  This created a fun conversation piece and “out-of-party-experience” as partiers could see themselves from above the space.  The LEDs in the drinks were also a Demonstrous touch.  The combination of the photographic feedback and glowing beverages allowed for a playful final moment that culminated in the >CARROT logo written in light.
